SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, June 30, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Drivers should plan ahead for the closure of the Foothill Drive ramp to Interstate 215 through September.
The Utah Department of Transportation said in a news release the ramp onto the I-215 east belt will be closed Wednesday, July 5, through September.
The closure allows crews time to work on reconstruction efforts on southbound Foothill Drive, as well as on bridges over Parleys Way and I-215.
“UDOT recommends that drivers rethink their trips: plan extra travel time and use alternate routes to get to the I-215 east belt from Foothill Drive,” the statement said.
