Holiday weekend weather: Statewide Utah forecast through Monday

UTAH, Jan. 12, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — The heavens are gifting us with some relatively balmy temperatures lasting through the weekend, capped on Monday by Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

“Relatively” being the key word, of course.

Within the long weekend, the National Weather Service predicts a daytime high in Utah of 61 Sunday and Monday in St. George and a nighttime low of 18 those same days in Logan.

Always showing off in the weather department, aren’t we, St. George and Logan?

Anyway, for planning purposes, here is what the Utah office of the National Weather Service predicts for us between now and Monday, with forecasts for all areas of the state. All graphics used are from the National Weather Service.

Only far-eastern Utah shows a hazardous weather outlook, which in most areas means light snow is possible in the higher mountain areas marked in yellow.
