LAYTON, Utah, June 8, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Layton police have arrested a woman found unconscious in a gutter after they say she provided alcohol and drugs to four teenage boys at her home.

At about 4 p.m. Saturday, Layton Police Department officers responded to a report of an unconscious woman found near 300 North and 850 East, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The woman, later identified as Amber Renee Bradley, 29, was in a roadside gutter. Officers talked to her, and found she had slurred speech and difficulty getting up.

Bradley was taken to Davis County Hospital, and admitted taking pain medication. She had several hydrocodone pills in her possession, according to the report.

Bradley told officers her three young children were at her home nearby, being watched by a 15-year-old.

With Bradley’s consent, officers entered the home and found four boys, age 14 through 16, unconscious on the floor next to marijuana, Xanax and containers of beer, according to the report.

Bradley’s children, ages 4, 5 and 8, were found sleeping on the floor in another room, the report said. The teenagers told officers they got the beer from Bradley, who drank it with them. Bradley reportedly admitted to providing the beer, but not the Xanax.

Bradley was booked into the Davis County Jail on suspicion of child endangerment, possession of a controlled substance and intoxication. She remains jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail.
