RIVERTON, Utah, Oct. 9, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — The Utah Department of Transportation is closing 13400 South to east and west travel at Bangerter Highway for about a year while crews construct a free-way style interchange.

The closure will take effect Friday, as early as 9 a.m. Closure anticipated to last until fall of 2025

“Throughout the closure, most left-hand turns from Bangerter will not be allowed,” the UDOT news release says. “To keep traffic moving, UDOT will still allow northbound motorists to turn left (west) on 13400 South throughout the closure.

“This closure is part of UDOT’s decade-long efforts to eliminate stoplights on Bangerter Highway by converting intersections into interchanges. In addition to 13400 South, UDOT is building interchanges at 4700 South, 9800 South and 2700 West.”
