NORTH SALT LAKE, Utah, Sept. 2, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A 65-year-old man died Saturday after crashing a scooter on U.S. 89 in North Salt Lake.
The crash happened at about noon, according to information released by the North Salt Lake Police Department. The man was traveling south at about 2600 South when he lost control.
A medical helicopter responded, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers do not believe he was wearing a helmet.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of his family.
