MILLVILLE, Utah, Oct. 3, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A man in his late teens or early 20s was killed Monday morning after being hit by a pickup truck on state Route 165 near Millville, officials said.
The man was in the far left lane when he was hit by the pickup truck, which was traveling northbound at approximately 6:30 a.m., Utah Highway Patrol officials confirmed.
It is not yet known why the man was in the road, police said, but early reports indicate he may have been running in and out of traffic. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s name has not been released pending notification of family members.
