MILLCREEK, Utah, May 30, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A motorcyclist was severely injured in a crash Wednesday afternoon which tied up traffic for two hours or more.
The rider was transported to a local hospital in critical condition after the collision with a passenger vehicle dispatched at 1:54 p.m., Unified Police Department Lt. Mike Lee said.
Traffic was restricted for clearing the scene at 4070 S. 700 E in Millcreek and subsequent investigation by a departmental Critical Accident Reconstruction Team, Lee said.
Injuries were limited to the motorcycle rider, he said. The other vehicle involved remained on the scene and the driver was reportedly cooperating with the investigation.
Lee said there was no initial information on possible citations or charges from the collision.
No other vehicles were involved.
