MILLCREEK, Utah, July 27, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — The Unified Police Department has released the name of the motorcyclist killed Friday night in Millcreek.

According to Unified Police Sgt. Aymee Race, Nicholas Purdy, 33, a resident of Millcreek, was fatally injured just before 9 p.m. at 3900 South and Highland Drive.

Race told Gephardt Daily that Mr. Purdy was northbound on Highland Drive when he turned west onto 3900 South and into the path of a southbound vehicle which was passing through the intersection on a green light.

Purdy died at the scene of the crash.

“No drugs, alcohol or distraction appear to be a factor from the southbound driver and the driver stayed on scene and was cooperative with the investigation,” Race said.
