Nine Horses, Other Livestock Killed In West Valley Barn Fire
WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH – July 26, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) –
Eleven animals have been killed in an early morning barn fire in West Valley City.
According to the West Valley Fire Department the fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. near 6400 W. 3500 South.
By the time fire crews could access the property the barn was fully engulfed in flames.
Nine horses, one sheep and one goat perished in the fire. A pony which was tied outside the structure was rescued uninjured.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
