EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah, Aug. 13, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials are asking for the public’s help locating a 19-year-old man missing since Aug. 8.
Eli Merlin Dutson, who goes by Merlin, was last seen in Eagle Mountain, where he lives with his family, Sgt. Spencer Cannon from the Utah County Sheriff’s Office said.
Officials said his family is concerned because he usually communicates with them on a daily basis.
Dutson took his vehicle, a 2010 Honda Accord with the license plate SO76L. The car has a Utes sticker in the back window and a dark window tint. The vehicle was last seen Friday afternoon between Daniels Summit and the Soldier Summit campground, heading towards Duchesne.
His family said he showed no signs of being depressed or suicidal. His phone currently goes straight to voicemail. Officials said there is no indication of foul play at this stage.
Dutson is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.
