CALDWELL, Idaho, June 21, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A man from Ogden is a person of interest in the shooting deaths of three females in Caldwell, Idaho.
Gerald Michael Bullinger, 60, who goes by Mike, was last seen in Ogden 10 days ago. It is unclear whether he is a current or former resident of the city. He is classified as armed and dangerous.
The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office says the females, whose names were not released, range in ages of mid-teens to mid-50s.
Each was killed by a single bullet, and their bodies were hidden in a shed on the property, which was owned by Bullinger.
Multiple dead pets were also found on the property.
Officials from the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office said all three women had a strong connection to the property where they were found, but declined to discuss their relationships with Bullinger.
The women were killed between one and two weeks ago. Their bodies were found earlier Monday after a family member requested officers do a welfare check.
Decomposition has slowed the verification of their identities, Canyon County Sheriff’s officials said, but they seem to be a match for the women staying at the address where their bodies were found. DNA samples have been collected, and dental records will be checked, according to the sheriff’s office.
Bullinger was also staying at the address recently, and is wanted by law enforcement officials for three counts of failure to report a death.
“We have no idea where he (Bullinger) would at this time,” said Canyon County chief deputy Marv Dashiell at a news conference.
“We’re hoping someone may know where he is. We are working with agencies inside the state of Idaho and agencies in surrounding states.”
No motive has been established.
Anyone with information about Bullinger’s whereabouts is asked to call 208-454-7531.
