PROVO, Utah, May 30, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Two people were injured Thursday morning when a truck went off the road and crashed into a Provo home before coming to a stop inside the residence.

Provo police say a dark gray Ford truck veered off the road and crashed into a home near 200 North and 900 East about 10 a.m.

The driver, a 61-year-old man, was conscious and breathing when he was transported to Utah Valley Hospital with unknown injuries, police said.

A male resident of undisclosed age inside the home suffered injuries from debris and was provided medical attention, police said.

Northbound lanes on 900 East were closed while first responders and utility crews assessed the damage and worked to stabilize the structure.
