Police investigating shots fired call in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, May 21, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials are searching for a suspect or suspects after a shots-fired incident in Salt Lake City in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The incident occurred in the area of 1794 W. Shannon Circle (450 North) just before 1 a.m., the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

“Reports of shots fired came into dispatch, and officers in the area heard them as well,” the news release said. “Officers checked the area and found shell casings in the alley behind the above address.”

There were no signs of damage as a result of the gunfire, the news release said.
