SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah, Sept. 7, 2020 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for a suspect vehicle after a hit-and-run crash involving a South Salt Lake police supervisor Monday morning.

South Salt Lake PD public information officer Danielle Croyle told Gephardt Daily the incident occurred in the area of 3300 S. 300 East at approximately 11:45 a.m.

The officer sustained only minor injuries, Croyle said.

She said at this stage there are few details of the incident. Scanner traffic indicates the suspect vehicle headed west on 3300 South, though that has yet to be confirmed.

Croyle added that an outside jurisdiction will be investigating the incident, but it’s not clear at this time which agency that will be.
