OGDEN, Utah, Aug. 20, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — The Ogden City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in solving a 9-year-old murder case.
In airing some of its cold cases, the department Tuesday shared a news release on the killing of 27-year-old Corbin Samuel McGuire.
“On 8/20/2015, Weber 911 received a phone call of a shooting and person down near 2300 Van Buren Ave., Ogden, Utah,” OCPD statement says.
“The male victim was transported to the hospital where he was declared deceased from a gunshot injury.
“The investigation revealed McGuire was outside in the street when he was shot. A possible suspect vehicle was described in the area by witnesses, but that lead has not led to the identification of the perpetrators.”
