SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – August 10, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Salt Lake City police officers say a man entered a business at 355 S. State Street on Saturday at about 4:35 p.m. with a deep laceration across his abdomen following an aggravated assault. The victim was intoxicated and could only give vague details of the assault.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 30s, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 250 lbs, wearing a white T-shirt and jeans. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate any suspect in the assault. The victim was transported in critical condition to a local hospital. Detectives are investigating further.
