Police Seek Suspects After Little Caesars and Maverik Robberies

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – August 17, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Salt Lake Police are searching for suspects after two businesses were robbed over the weekend.

On Friday afternoon at 3:51 p.m., two men entered a Little Caesars at 1080 E. 500 South and one showed a weapon, demanding money.

The men left the scene in a silver Hyundai Elantra that was driven by a third person. One suspect is described as six feet tall and 150 pounds, wearing a short-sleeve black hoodie with a red long-sleeve shirt underneath, khakis, black tennis shoes and blue gloves.  The second suspect is described as about 5’6″ and 150 pounds, wearing a black hoodie with a white T-shirt underneath, a dark baseball hat, black pants, black tennis shoes and blue gloves.

In a separate incident, a suspect entered the Maverik at 1707 S. 300 West on Sunday at 9:03 p.m. He handed the clerk a note demanding money. The clerk gave him money and the man ran.

This suspect is described as a white man in his thirties with a small, dark goatee who speaks with a Spanish accent. He was wearing a dark hoodie with a black straight-bill ball cap underneath, blue Levis, white shoes, sunglasses and gloves.
