CEDAR CITY, Utah, July 13, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are looking for two suspects, a man and a woman, who robbed Advance America, 642 S. Main St., at about 4:16 p.m. Thursday.
According to a news release from Cedar City Police, the man said he was armed and displayed a weapon.
He demanded cash, and the clerk complied. The suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash, in a dark blue or black passenger car with black rims. The car was possibly a Ford Mustang or a Pontiac Grand Am. It had a temporary tag in the window.
The suspects were last seen leaving northbound on Main Street. There could be as many as four people in the car.
According to the release, the suspects were described as a black male and black female, both wearing trucker hats. The male was wearing jeans shorts and the female was wearing booty shorts (very short shorts.) She also had a straight lip ring and long hair.
Both suspects were described a short and stocky, about 5 feet 7 inches tall.
Detectives have received information that these same suspects were involved in four robberies at other Advance America stores in the Las Vegas area Thursday.
The suspects in the Cedar City robbery and the people in the car are all considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees them is advised not to approach them, but to stay a safe distance away and call 911.
