Public’s help sought locating missing Salt Lake City man

CACHE COUNTY, Utah, July 20, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Law enforcement officers are looking for a missing Salt Lake City man who has not been seen for almost a week.

David Roe, 48, last known whereabouts, prior to the discovery of his vehicle Thursday in Cache County, was Monday in Salt Lake City, where, according to an alert by the Cache County Sheriff’s Office, his credit cards were used.

Four days later, Roe’s 2001 Maroon Dodge Caravan was found near Hardware Ranch in Blacksmith Fork Canyon, east of Hyrum, the sheriff’s office said.

The Hardware Ranch state elk preserve is located 18 miles up the canyon.

Roe is described as Caucasian with hazel eyes and brown hair, 6-foot-3, 135 pounds.
