SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Aug. 20, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — First responders were called to the scene at about 3 p.m. Tuesday after a trailer carrying a Salt Lake City Streets vehicle rolled, reportedly dumping an asphalt crusher on its side and causing it to leak fluids.
Salt Lake City police and firefighters responded to the scene, and Salt Lake County Health officials were alerted.
“We are assisting with a road closure from 800 West to 900 West on California Avenue,” a SLCPD social media post says.
“This is due to a trailer that tipped over while transporting some heavy machinery. No one was injured. Please find alternate travel routes.”
