UTAH COUNTY, Utah, Aug. 21, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — The driver of a semi-trailer hauling juice died Tuesday evening when the vehicle rolled on U.S. Highway 6.
Utah Highway Patrol said in a news release that the crash occurred at about 6:22 p.m. at mile marker 206 on westbound US-6.
Mile marker 206 is near the east end of Spanish Fork Canyon.
“For an unknown reason, the semi-tractor and trailer combination left the roadway and rolled a significant portion down a hillside,” the news release said.
The driver, whose name has not been released, was the only person in the semi and died as a result of the crash.
