SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Oct. 6, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A South Jordan woman has been sentenced to prison after accepting a plea deal in a case involving the abuse of 13-year-old boys.

Stacey McQueen, 37, pleaded guilty to one count of sex abuse of a child, a second-degree felony.

She was sentenced to one to 15 years in prison.

Charges dismissed with prejudice were sodomy on a child, a first-degree felony; three counts of sex abuse of a child, a second-degree felony; dealing in materials harmful to a minor, a third-degree felony; and lewdness involving a child, a class A misdemeanor.

Charges were filed in 2016 after a then-13-year-old boy told his mother that a friend’s mother (McQueen) had sent him nude photos of herself, and had previously performed improper acts on him and other boys of the same approximate age when they were at the friend’s residence.

That victim, and a second boy of the same age, told investigators that McQueen had provided alcohol to them before the instances of sexual abuse.

After sentencing on Thursday, McQueen was transported immediately to the Utah State Prison.
