SPRINGVILLE, Utah, May 31, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — A cloven-hooved “escapee” in Springville, who got major media play on news sites, has been taken into custody.
“Does anyone recognize this escapee???,” said an urgent post issued Sunday on the Springville Police Facebook page, accompanied by two photos of a scat-spreading billy goat.
“We believe he’s been on the run for at least two days. Needing to locate an owner ASAP!”
News broke Monday that the on-the-lamb goat had been claimed.
“Update: Owner has been located!,” said a Springville PD post, giddy in its use of exclamation points. “Thanks for everyone’s help!!!”
