NEPHI, Utah, June 24, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A stabbing victim was rushed to the hospital Saturday night in Nephi, and a suspect was taken into custody.
Police were called to the area of 80 N. 600 East on a report of a stabbing at approximately 6 p.m., Nephi police officials said.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed multiple times. He was transported to an area hospital. His condition is not known, officials said.
A suspect was taken into custody though police have not yet said what charges he may be facing.
Neither man has been identified by officials.
A motive for the stabbing is not yet known and an investigation into the incident is underway.
