HYRUM, UTAH – November 9, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – A suspicious laptop at a bus stop in Hyrum prompted the closure of the Intermodal Transit Center in Logan Monday afternoon.
According to Cache Valley Transit, one of their bus drivers found a laptop at a stop in Hyrum and took it to the Intermodal Transit Center lost and found. A note inside the computer appeared to indicate a threat.
The bomb squad and additional officers from Logan City, Utah State University and Cache County Sheriff’s office responded to the scene, where it was determined to be safe a short while later.
The incident is still under investigation and an update will be made once more information becomes available.
