HARRISVILLE, Utah, Aug. 15, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A burglary that turned into a SWAT call-out in Harrisville ended safely.

Officers responded to a burglary alarm just after 11 a.m. Thursday in the area of 1500 North and 400 West. It was determined someone was inside the residence, who, when contacted by police, refused to come out, according to Harrisville PD.

“The subject barricaded himself inside of the home. Officers attempted to communicate with the subject with no success.”
