KEARNS, Utah, Dec. 6, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Emergency crews responded Tuesday to the scene of an accident near Kearns High School in which a 14-year-old was struck by a car.
Lt. Brian Lohrke, of the Unified Police Department, said the accident, reported at 2:20 p.m., began with a two-car collision near 5400 S. Cougar Lane.
“One car spun out and went onto the sidewalk, where it struck the girl,” Lohrke said. “She is in fair condition. They took her to the hospital to check her out, but her injuries are not major or life threatening.”
The occupants of the two cars involved in the crash were not injured in the crash, Lohrke said.
