TOOELE, Utah – Jan. 14, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Tooele County Sheriff’s Office says an endangered six-year-old girl and her mother have returned home.
The announcement was made Friday morning by way of social media.
“Thank you everyone for your assistance in locating Carrie Sutanto and her 6 yo daughter Audrey Sutanto. They have returned home and are safe,” the post said.
According to sheriff’s deputies, Carrie Sutanto took her daughter, Audrey Sutanto, on Wednesday, when she learned of the investigation opened by the Department of Child and Family Services. She had not been heard from since.
Police say Carrie Sutanto had been struggling with mental health issues for several months and may behaving irrationally.
