DRAPER, Utah, Oct. 27, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital Friday night after a collision with a truck on Pioneer Road.

The accident happened a little before 7 p.m. in the roundabout at 1300 E. Pioneer Road (12400 South), Draper Police Sgt. Clint Fackrell told Gephardt Daily.

Both drivers are adult males.

Fackrell said the motorcyclist was transported to Lone Peak Hospital with a leg injury.

He said the driver of the Ford F-250 truck was being held on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Fackrell said all drivers need to be especially watchful for vehicles and pedestrians now, because more people than usual will be out and about as Halloween approaches.
