MAGNA, Utah, Dec. 17, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A woman is dead after a traffic collision reported at about 9:10 p.m. Tuesday.
The accident happened in Magna, on eastbound U-201 and 8000 West, and involved three vehicles, Tara Stump, Utah Highway Patrol, told Gephardt Daily.
Westbound traffic was not affected, she said. The eastbound part of the road was expected to be closed until about midnight, she said at about 10 p.m..
A man believed involved with the crash fled the scene, Stump said.
“They’ve located him and he’ll be returning to the scene.”
Information about any additional injuries was not available.
