WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Dec. 7, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — West Valley City Police Department is looking for information after a 32-year-old man was hit in the back by a bullet while sitting inside his home.
Police said in a statement that at about 1 a.m. Saturday, a suspect or suspects fired shots into the building, at 3251 S. 4140 West.
The man is still in the hospital. Investigators have worked on leads they’ve found, police said, but so far, they’ve not been able to uncover the motive for the shooting nor do they have a suspect in the case.
WVCPD is asking people who were in that area and saw something or who might have information about the case to call police at 801-840-4000. Tips can be made anonymously.
