The FedEx Fall Cup event is scheduled for Oct. 9-13 at the 19-hole, Tom Weiskopf-designed championship golf course at Black Desert Resort, 1500 E. Black Desert Drive.
“The Black Desert Championship is a landmark event for both the PGA Tour and the state of Utah,” said Patrick Manning, managing partner of Black Desert. “We are delighted to bring top-tier professional golf back to this region and look forward to making history with an unforgettable tournament experience.”

The 2024 Black Desert Championship is the inaugural tournament in a four-year agreement between the southern Utah resort and the PGA Tour.
Black Desert Resort also has been announced as the future host of an LPGA Tour event in 2025.
The PGA Tour first visited Utah in 1930 when Harry “Lighthorse” Cooper won the Salt Lake Open.
Reef Capital Partners is developing Black Desert, which upon buildout will include more than 250,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, 3,000+ hotel rooms and residences, a concert venue, several miles of trails through ancient lava flows, a waterpark and a wellness spa.
In addition to the championship golf course at Black Desert Resort, guests can enjoy a 36-hole illuminated putting course for day or night play. The resort’s 19th hole will include an amphitheater-style, lakeside gathering place terraced into the black lava.
