LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 1 (UPI) — Three protesters who said they were shoved and called racist names at a Donald Trump rally in March are suing the Republican front-runner for allegedly inciting the crowd to violence.

The protesters — Kashiya Nwanguma, a 21-year-old college student; Molly Shah, a 36-year-old activist; and Henry Brousseau, a 17-year-old high school student — said they were physically removed from the rally in Louisville, Ky., and called racial slurs, after staging a protest inside the hall where the rally was taking place.

The lawsuit names Trump and two men who are seen in a video repeatedly shoving Nwanguma, including a Korean war veteran wearing his veterans group uniform. The leader of the Greater Cincinnati Korean War Veterans organization has since apologized, as has the member who’s seen engaging in the confrontation.

The protesters said Trump incited the crowd by repeatedly saying “get them out of here.” At one point in a video from part of the event, Trump bemoans how he is no longer “allowed” to say derogatory things about protesters because of press reports highlighting violence that has happened at Trump rallies.

At least two protesters at other Trump events have been sucker-punched.

The suit does not name a dollar amount.
