SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Feb. 13, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Utah State Senator Mark Madsen, architect of Senate Bill 73, known as the “whole plant” medical marijuana bill, is speaking out in support of the controversial measure, including the official pushback it is receiving from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In a wide-ranging interview with Bill Gephardt, Madsen not only discussed the LDS Church’s involvement in Utah’s legislative process, but also spoke of the specific recipes for extracting medical marijuana and the people he believes they will help.
