MAGNA, Utah, Dec. 24, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Firefighters responded to a real barn burner in Magna overnight.
UFA Public Information Officer Ryan Love said the structure at 2900 S. 8000 West, was fully involved when firefighters arrived at about 1:45 a.m., and the barn had collapsed.
“It was an old barn,” Love said.
Firefighters were able knock down the flames within 15 minutes.
No one animals were inside the structure which was undergoing renovation.
An adjacent outbuilding was also burned.
A firefighter received minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
