Wayne Static Died of an Alcohol and Prescription Drug Overdose
LOS ANGELES, March 15 (UPI) — Musician Wayne Static’s November death in California was due to a fatal combination of alcohol and prescription drugs, including Oxycodone and Alprazolam.
TMZ quoted the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office as saying chronic drug and alcohol abuse also played a factor in the death of the former Static-X frontman.
Static helped found the heavy-metal band in 1994 and he was the last original member when it broke up in 2014.
