Price Man Fatally Injured While on His Motorcycle
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – June 28, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — On Saturday around 8 o’clock p.m. Jamie Sanchez, age 54, from Price, UT was fatally injured while riding a motorcycle.
Saturday morning, Sanchez was traveling east on SR-6 near milepost 238.
Witnesses reported that there was only one rider on the bike and he was traveling in excess of the speed limit that was posted. The motorcycle left the roadway on the right hand side and then traveled for about 1,000 feet off the roadway.
At this point, the rider was thrown off the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet and suffered fatal injuries.
Troopers are investigating alcohol impairment and excessive speeds as a possible contributor to the crash.
