Police Seek Suspects After Victim is Stabbed and Hit With Crowbar in Downtown SLC

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – July 15, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Salt Lake City Police Department said a victim walked into the lobby of the Hampton Inn at 425 S. 300 West, with a stab wound to his abdomen, yesterday at 9:45 p.m.

Officials said he had been jumped by five or six people in between the Rescue Mission and the Maverick station on 400 W. and 500 South. He said he was stabbed and then hit on the head with a crowbar. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers were unable to locate a crime scene.
