OGDEN, Utah, Jan. 22, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — The Ogden Police Department has released photos of a “person of interest” after a man was shot dead early Sunday morning in Ogden.
OPD officials said the person pictured should be considered armed and dangerous.
Ogden Police officers were dispatched at 12:44 a.m. to a shots-fired call near 110 Patterson St.
Upon arrival, officials found a 32-year-old man, deceased, at that location, the parking lot of the SNS Quick Stop convenience store, according to an OPD news release. The shooter had fled.
The case is being investigated by the Ogden City Police Department Major Crimes Bureau, Weber County Homicide Task Force, and the Medical Examiner’s Office.
The name of the victim is not being released yet, pending notification of next of kin.
