OREM, Utah, Oct. 26, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A 47-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after an assault in Orem on Thursday afternoon.
Orem Police Department Lt. Craig Martinez told Gephardt Daily officers responded to a report of a fight at approximately 4 p.m. on the street in the area of 600 N. 300 East.
Martinez said the victim was transported to an area hospital by ground ambulance after the incident, which he said did not involve any weapons.
The suspect left the scene before police arrived, Martinez said. Police do not have a description of the suspect other than that he’s a man, he added.
Police have yet to establish a motive for the assault.
