WELLINGTON, Utah, July 26, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A Wellington police official seized methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop Thursday afternoon.
A Facebook post from Wellington PD said the stop was conducted at approximately 12:30 p.m.
“Officer Safley was able to seize 17.3 grams of meth, 2.5 grams of marijuana and multiple items of drug paraphernalia,” the post said. “The suspects in the case were charged and booked into the Carbon County Jail.”
The charges will be filed with the Carbon County Attorney’s Office for screening.
“I’m always proud of the work the guys do and for their dedication to the citizens of Wellington,” the post said.
