RIVERDALE, Utah, Aug. 19, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Drivers are being warned of road closures on Interstate 84 in Riverdale beginning Wednesday.
“One lane open each way starting Aug. 21, for striping, grinding and bridge deck repair, 7 a.m.-5 p.m.,” said a news release from the Utah Department of Transportation.
The US-89 ramp to eastbound I-84 and the US-89 off-ramps to eastbound and westbound I-84 will be closed Aug 21–23, also from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., the news release said.
Motorists are recommended to use alternate routes during construction times, and should expect delays up to 15 minutes during work hours.
“The work will improve the smoothness of the entire corridor for a better ride,” the news release said.
The project is projected to be completed by late August.
