SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Aug. 25, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City drivers and pedestrians are being reminded that the downtown area will be affected by the United Nations conference Monday through Wednesday.
“There will be lane restrictions and reduced traffic flow around the Salt Palace,” said a Facebook post from the Salt Lake City Police Department. “It would be best to avoid the area. Likewise there will be restrictions on pedestrian traffic.”
Only conference attendees will be allowed to walk on the block of the Salt Palace, which is at 100 S. West Temple.
“Please look at the map and plan accordingly,” the post said.
