ST. GEORGE, Utah, May 25, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — St. George police are searching for a missing 75-year-old man.
Robert Cummins was last seen leaving his residence in St. George for a trip to Smith’s, at 565 S. Mall Drive, on Monday at approximately noon, said a Facebook post from St. George Police Department on Tuesday night.
“Robert has memory issues and had just moved to St. George less than one week when he went missing, because of this, he is not familiar with the area,” the post said. “Robert is diabetic and has a heart condition; both require medication that he did not take with him.”
Cummins typically uses cash for purchases, the post said.
He is driving an early 90s maroon Chevrolet Silverado with a California license plate, which is unknown at this time. Cummins enjoys visiting temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He recently moved from California, but his memory issues may likely keep him from knowing how to make it back to that state.
He is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and 210 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing black jogger pants, a black T-shirt, and he sometimes wears a baseball cap, the post said.
Anyone who sees Cummins is asked to contact the St. George Police Department at 435-627-4300; the reference number is 21P013441.
