PROVO, Utah, June 9, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — Provo City Power is working to restore service after a “large” outage Wednesday afternoon.
The power outage started mid-afternoon and at 4:02 p.m. Provo City Power issued a statement on social media saying they had determined the cause:
“Crews were pulling In a transmission conductor line which then fell into the distribution line causing the outage. The crews are working on repairing the line and replacing a fuse. Power should be restored in 15 minutes.”
