“Arrested Development” to Return for New Episodes

Arrested DevelopmentLOS ANGELES, April 7 (UPI) — “Arrested Development” will return for new episodes.

Series producer Brian Glazer announced the news Tuesday on The B.S. Report with Bill Simmons.

 

 

“We’re going to do another 17 episodes. So, stay tuned for ‘Arrested Development,'” he revealed. Glazer offered no information on scheduling or cast participation.

“Arrested Development” aired for three seasons on Fox, and was revived for a fourth season on Netflix in 2013. The show follows the fictitious, dysfunctional Bluth family, and stars Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Portia de Rossi, Tony Hale, Jeffrey Tambor and Jessica Walter.

Glazer and co-producer and narrator Ron Howard own production company Imagine Entertaiment, and are known for such series as 24, Friday Night Lights and Parenthood. Glazer currently produces Fox musical series Empire with co-creators Lee Daniels and Danny Strong.
