LOS ANGELES, July 19 (UPI) — Britney Spears enjoyed a family outing with her sons Preston and Jayden on Monday.
The 34-year-old singer treated Preston, 10, and Jayden, 9, to a day at the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor water park in Los Angeles. The three were accompanied by Spears’ nanny.
“Hurricane Harbor whoop whoop!” the star captioned a group photo on Instagram. She also posted a picture of herself and Jayden enjoying refreshments.
Spears shares her children with ex-husband Kevin Federline, from whom she split in 2006. The singer told People she was “the happiest [she’s] ever been” when she discussed her home life with the magazine in 2015.
“My kids come first in my life, bottom line,” she said. “Homework is a priority. We have a reward system that helps motivate them: if they get so many As, they get one toy a month.”
“Preston is very opinionated, very expressive … he has a huge heart, he’s a good kid and he has manners,” the star shared. “Jayden is sweet, very soft-spoken, kinda funny. He’s adorable — a momma’s boy.”
Spears is on break from her Las Vegas residency at The Axis at Planet Hollywood and will resume performances Aug. 15. She released a new single, “Make Me,” featuring G-Eazy, from her upcoming ninth studio album last week.
“I’ve been working on this [album] for a year and a half now, almost two years, so it really means a lot to me,” the star previously told E! News. “It’s my baby.”
Spears last released “Britney Jean” in 2013, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. The album includes the singles “Work Bitch” and “Perfume.”
