“Castle” Back for Season Eight
LOS ANGELES, CALIF. – April 16, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – It looks like ABC TV’s hit series “Castle” will be back for an eighth season.

The series star Nathan Fillion reportedly has renewed his contract for another year playing mystery novel author Richard Castle, who helps out the NYPD solving murders, along with Det. Kate Becket, played by Stana Katic.
The series premiered in 2009.
In related “Castle” news, Entertainment Weekly is reporting Executive Producer David Amann is stepping down from the top creative post on the series.
Ratings on the Monday night series fell about 15 percent this season, to 10.9 million viewers and a 2.3 rating among adults 18-49 when including DVR playback.
