LOS ANGELES, Sept. 27 (UPI) — Former “7th Heaven” star Catherine Hicks is open to a reunion if it doesn’t include her disgraced TV husband, Stephen Collins.

The 65-year-old actress, who played Annie Camden on The WB/CW series, revealed she’d be interested in a revival if the 68-year-old actor’s character, Rev. Eric Camden, was killed off.

“We’d have to open with Stephen’s coffin,” she told TMZ on Monday. “It’s all up to [the] networks and those types of things. I think we’d all love to be together … “Eighth Heaven” with a new boyfriend for Annie.”

Collins admitted in December 2014 to molesting three underage girls between 1973 and 1994. The abuse was exposed after a recording surfaced of the actor confessing in a therapy session with his then-wife, Faye Grant.

“Forty years ago, I did something terribly wrong that I deeply regret,” he said in a statement at the time. “I have been working to atone for it ever since. I’ve decided to address these issues publicly because … [of the] recording made by my then-wife.”

“On the recording, I described events that took place 20, 32, and 40 years ago,” the star detailed. “The publication of the recording has resulted in assumptions and innuendos about what I did that go far beyond what actually occurred. As difficult as this is, I want people to know the truth.”

Collins had taken part in an informal “7th Heaven” reunion just weeks before the recording went public. The series had an 11-season run from 1996 to 2007, and co-starred Jessica Biel, Beverley Mitchell and Barry Watson.
