Christina Aguilera Shares Photos As A Brunette From ‘Nashville’ Set
NASHVILLE, March 18 (UPI) — Christina Aguilera is a sporting a brunette look these days.
The 34-year-old singer shared on Tuesday a picture of herself with a long, brown mane from the set of the television series Nashville, where she’ll appear in a guest role.
“Jade’s been busy studying her lines. Can’t wait for #Nashville!” she captioned a photo that sees her reading a script.
The week prior, the singer shared another photo of her long, dark tresses under the caption: “Look at all that hair! Having lots of fun on the set of #Nashville. More to come!”
Aguilera told The Hollywood Reporter in February that her character “is a successful pop singer who desperately wants to move into the country world, as that is her true passion. But she is caught between her passion and what the label wants her to do.”
“I have started to venture into all aspects of the business, still with my focus on music, but acting and now even producing TV,” she said at the time. “We just sold our idea to ABC Family so it’s an exciting time for me.”
While it’s unclear whether Aguilera is wearing a wig for her TV gig, the singer sported a similarly dark mane in the early 2000s.
